Spotify Just Committed Suicide
When I opened Spotify today, I received the following notice:
I’m not sure if their advertising funded business model failed, whether they got greedy or whether the music labels pulled the plug, but it seems that from now on, spotify users will be required to pay about 5 euros a month for the basic service. No thanks, Spotify. For me, that makes the service no better than any other and therefore irrelevant. I’d rather get a Zune pass.
