Publishing is Dead
It’s been clear for some time that the next casualty of The Internet was going to be publishing. Amazon absolutely nailed the e-book industry with their Kindle e-book reader. The printed book publishing industry, though, is in trouble. It’s now easy for an individual to write and self-publish a book, sell it via Amazon and make more money that they would using a publisher.
