Think Big. It’s a simple thing to say, not so easy to do. But here is a piece of Big Thinking that might just be worth getting behind: World Peace within 5 Years. I discovered this site from a very subtle link on Seth Godin’s blog. What an amazing idea, let’s put a deadline on World Peace. Why not make war socially unacceptable, like we have done with drink-driving and are in the process of doing with smoking. Could this turn out to be the crowning achievement of The Internet (surely already one of Humanity’s greatest accomplishments)? Now, this may be an unattainable goal, or it may be a world-changing idea. I don’t know. There is sure to be a lot of passive-aggressive nay-sayers. But how can it possibly hurt to try?
